My daughter and I own a 5year old 15.2 Welsh section D/ Arab. Called Philip.
It has always been an aspiration of mine to be a part of a riding / show team and somehow found myself as Team Captain having previously been involved with various RM Teams alongside my husband who is a serving member of the Royal Marines
My riding skills from a young age were jump on and go. I did not get taught. Now older and wiser I am beginning to understand the enormity of owning and riding a horse.
Becoming a member of the RNRMRS show team has given me the opportunity to realise this dream.
Not only will it improve my riding skills but also give me greater confidence and ability in the saddle. I can’t wait to train in dressage and who knows where or what it will lead to.

Megan Conway, VICE CAPTAIN/COACH - All Disciplines
Meg and her horse 'Tony Pony' an 8yr old TBx are the newest members of the team and currently compete across all disciplines with none being an actual firm favourite.
Currently working within the NHS, Meg has been around horses for some 20 years and enjoys teaching and helping riders achieve their goals. Tony however, enjoys treats and a good old bum scratch. Their future goals are to complete an ODE, competing at County Level for their Showing and attaining Elementary Level in their Dressage.
Meg is looking forward to working with the horses and riders of the RNRM Team.

My name is Jacqui and I am the very proud owner of Danny aka A Pocket Full of Fun.
Danny and I both enjoy, low level show jumping, the odd hunter trail, and Stressage (as we like to call it!) My aim is to build on our existing partnership and become not only a better rider, but to build my knowledge on how to understand my pony, so I can ensure his happiness and well being, which in turn helps me with mine. Together we are looking forward to building lots of fun memories and to do our very best for and behalf of the RNRMRS riding team.

Like most pony owners, I’m slightly obsessed with these four legged creatures, in particular my big baby boy, Clyde. We’re a new combination and he’s very new to the equestrian world having previously raced on the flat. We hope to attempt some dressage and a spot of showing, all things going well. I’ve previously done everything from eventing to polocrosse, but have decided my passion lies between the white boards of dressage.

Hi my name is Lucy and I have a piebald cob named Connor! Connor is 9 years old with oodles of personality and a love of mischief! We are new to the world of competition but hope to have a go at everything from showing to a one day event (eeeek)!

Enjoy new experiences; and Eat as many apples as possible (Connor).

This is me (Jess) and my gorgeous boy Henry. We love dressage and have been known to complete the odd cross country course! We are looking forward to trying our hand at showing for the first time this year. Henry is a good all-rounder and an absolute gentleman who I am very proud to say is also my best friend.

Scarlett - is much more focussed on the showing & eventing aspect of the team. She loves the fast pace of x country and jumping as does Philip and by contrast enjoys the precision and finesse required to take part in dressage.
Scarlett and Philip have won many competitions together at events and shows around the Southwest.

My name is Nikkita I am 28 years old and head girl at the RNRMRS. I own 2 horses, Bandit a 3yo Dutch warmblood and Roxie a 21 yo nf x tb. My aim to just have fun with my Roxie for now, with some pleasure rides and low level jumping and to produce the youngster Bandit to affiliated BE level.
