To all Members and Customers,
In light of recent security concerns across the UK and breaches in security around the camp it is important to remind all visitors of the importance of following the security policy in place. In accordance with the RNRMRS Charter our security policy is as follows:
Security. The RNRMRS is to ensure full compliance with the 42 Cdo RM Security policy regarding access to the site.
a. Passes. All staff and members of the RNRMRS are to have a pass issued from the 42 Cdo Pass Office, this includes holding a valid car pass if appropriate. Failure to show a pass upon access or request could result in the individual being escorted off the premises.
b. Visitors. All visitors to the Stables should be notified to the 42 Cdo Guardroom in advance (vets, farriers, physios, etc). All visitors should collect a pass from the 42 Cdo Pass Office in order to gain access. This is to be arranged via Staff or Committee members at the Stables
c. Deliveries. All deliveries to the Stables should be notified to the 42 Cdo Guardroom in advance. All deliveries should collect a pass from the 42 Cdo Pass Office in order to gain access.
d. Hacks. All hacks to/from the Stables should be accompanied by an appropriate member of staff or, in the case of livery members, riders must ensure they take their pass with them. The Guard Room should be notified of any hacks departing so that they can be granted access upon their return without having to dismount their horses. Should the make up of the party returning from a hack be different to that of the party that left, members should be prepared to dismount and/or go to the Main Gate to arrange access.
If you are attending a lesson/event at the Riding School please ensure you plan enough time on arrival (approx 10-15 mins) to be issued your passes, remembering that the pass office may have other personnel they are issuing for which may delay your entry.
Please be advised that they may request to conduct a search of your vehicle. Failure to allow this could result in you not being allowed access to the Stables
Such security procedures are in place to protect yourselves, the staff and the horses.
Please do not put the Riding School at risk by attempting to access without a pass.
Many thanks in advance for your compliance in this matter.
Should you require any further information or have any concerns then please do not hesitate to contact Cathie Gillespie direct.
